Nature-education v/s. Education-in-nature  more....

Logo

Our logo evolved in a way that fascinates us till this day. On a visit to Pondicherry, to a Shree Aurobindo Ashram, we saw a painting on the wall, which was a play on the Chinese Ying Yan - the feminine-masculine. It caught our attention but it was not untill the next visit that Prativaa (co-founder) made that she sketched it and then we played with it to embody what we deeply believe.

Our logo, a play on the Chinese Yin-Yang (Feminine-Masculine principle), symbolises the dance of life and work. The wonderful duality of all experience and the oneness beneath.

You will notice two figures in the logo (blue standing and white sitting), symbolizing say, the leader-team member, the teacher-student or the parent-child duality. To name a few. Giving and Receiving.

If you haven’t already, see if you can notice an interesting twist in the visual before reading below.

In conventional understanding, the teacher teaches and the student learns, the leader leads and the team member follows, the parent nurtures and the child receives.

The logo depicts the Giver’s hands beneath that of the Receiver. The essence of our approach. Receiving while Giving.

We believe that real sublime power and joyful effectiveness flows from embracing paradoxes…

A leader is truly effective when he is willing to also follow his team and the highest good while leading. Servant Leadership.
A great teacher actively learns from his student while teaching.
A loving parent is nourished by her child as much, if not more than the nourishment she provides.

We discovered this quote years after the logo came to us..

“It seems as if the teacher and learner are separated, the teacher giving something to the learner rather than to himself. The course emphasizes that to teach is to learn, so that the teacher and the learner are the same.”
Manual for Teachers, from “A Course in Miracles”

And so, the journey of eternal learning continues...

The most learning-full 4 days of my life. Program was very inclusive, a
high degree of openness. Some very forceful messages were given from a space of love and hence received without defensiveness
